CEDC staff continue to explore opportunities with manufacturers and transporters to facilitate end-market development. In southern Colorado, Front Range Transload offers options for recyclers to ship by rail along with warehouse space to store small or partial loads until a railcar can be filled. They are a new collection site for plastics recycler Direct Polymers.

Visit with CEDC staff in Grand Junction and Colorado Springs
Thanks to a partnership with the Grand Junction Business Development Center, Jennifer Gates will spend a portion of her time supporting the CEDC as a satellite office coordinator for the Western Slope region. In Colorado Springs, the Trails and Open Space Coalition has generously agreed to host CEDC meetings at the Sustainacenter, a city-owned co-working space.
